The oldest institution on earth is the family and it plays a vital role in our society.  It has been said many times that strong families build strong communities.

As with any building project a good foundation is necessary to support the structure.  A critical factor is a wholehearted commitment to each other.

  Even the oldest book in history, the Bible, states at Genesis 2:24, “A man will leave his father and mother and he must stick to his wife and they must become one flesh.”

The only scriptural basis for divorce with the option of remarriage is fornication, that is, sexual relations outside of the marriage union.

This type of trust and commitment requires maturity and most of all it requires that you know yourself first and ensuring that you have selected a compatible mate.

No… Outer beauty isn’t enough; rather get to know the “secret person of the heart.”
